Guest Blogger #3- Sarah Bridgeman…photographer extraordinaire

Hey friends! Hope you had a beautiful Easter celebrating the most important event in history!! I mentioned I had one more guest blogger who I wanted to spotlight. Sarah is a professional photographer who came with us to Africa last month. Her pictures are simply gorgeous. Below is the blog she wrote on her website. I asked her if I could post it here because I want all my friends to hear what she has to say and more importantly, see what she saw. Please click on the link at the end of her blog that will take you right to her website where you can see her photos. Enjoy!

When people ask me the question, “how was your trip?”, I don’t know where to begin.  Although the poverty was so intense and heartbreaking and unlike anything I’ve ever seen,  there was a beauty and joy among the people that I have never experienced.  My friend on the trip said it’s as if they are giving you their smile…it’s so big, joyful, and real. I have never felt more of a passion for photography as when I was there, among these people.  It was  different than any type of photography I have done.  It was raw and it was real…there was beauty and joy within the pain and suffering. They love Jesus with everything in them – a completely uninhibited love.

Let Them LOL  is a non-profit organization that is bringing so much joy to these communities by providing them with a basic need of clean water. You can see these communities change completely after receiving a clean water well. These wells are saving lives. Please click this link to see all the good things they are doing!

I could speak about these people and their stories for hours, but I’d rather let the photos do the talking. (To see Sarah’s amazing photos, click here.)
